Due to many factors, including the economy, we were not able to get enough registrations for this year’s Urban Conversation. Therefore, we are forced to cancel it.

Urban Conversation Registration Now Open

The Urban Conversation Conference will be a gathering of people either working in urban ministry or interested in urban ministry (such as academics), from the Stone-Campbell movement. The overall goals are:

To stay connected
Present and study “best practices” and models
To discuss issues, challenges, and joys of urban communities and ministry
Become a catalyst for urban ministry training and practice
Develop a message or statement for the Stone-Campbell churches regarding a heart for and a mission in the cities in order to grow our presence in and impact on those urban communities.

The 2010 Urban Conversation will be held at Englewood Christian Church [an urban church], 57 N Rural Street, Indianapolis, IN 46201 February 18-20, 2010.

We will be posting contact phone numbers, driving directions, and more details in a later entry.
